Species: A faerie, specifically a pixie and a changeling. She was raised as a human for all her life until fairly recently.
Age: 16
Origin: New Jersey, Seelie court of Faerieland
Marital status: Consort of Roiben
Glamoured “human” appearance: Thin, half Japanese and half Caucasian but with ragged blonde hair, now dyed green. Brown eyes.
True faerie appearance: Green as a leaf. Eyes are still slanted but pitch black and pupil-less. A pair of large, iridescent wings and long, curling fingers with an extra digit. Pointed ears. She smells of leaves, grass, and wilderness.
Abilities and fae nature: Kaye can use glamour – a faerie magic – to weave illusions and enchant people. She can change her appearance and how things and other people look, such as turning leaves into cash. It is, however, only an illusion, and those with the Sight or who are skilled in magic and the supernatural may be able to see through such tricks. It is said that if you look out at the corner of your eye at something glamoured, you can see how they truly look. Faeries that are more powerful than her can also probably see through her glamour, as she is still a novice at it. She can also use her wings to fly.
Faeries (in her world) cannot tell an untruth - she can twist the truth exceptionally well but not directly tell an untruth.
Like other faeries, she is also extremely weak to iron and it weakens her magic and makes her sick. She can use her glamour to make herself appear more human and dull her senses so the iron bothers her less, but it can only help so much.
Due to her cleverness, she also has the knowledge of Roiben’s true name. In her world, if you possess a faerie’s true name you can use it to command them to do what you want.
Faerie abilities aside, she is a skilled shop-lifter. And she can do a few lighter tricks and some cool affects with eyeliner.

Personality: The first word that always defines her is “clever.” She has come up with many plans and schemes, often impulsively, and is very good at figuring out things, especially riddles and “impossible quests.”
Though a faerie, Kaye has still known a good chunk of her life as being a teenager, and sometimes she acts that way. She can be moody. She thinks a lot, and is often lost in her thoughts, and sometimes her moods reflect those thoughts. At one point Kaye can be feeling awkward, withdrawn, and veryvery insecure, and at another point wild, imaginative, and headstrong. She can be mischievous and crafty at times, thus her pixie nature.
She is also brave, sometimes stupidly so, and impulsive. She’ll sometimes jump into things without thinking it through. Kaye also becomes extremely bothered when innocent people, fae or human alike, are being harmed, tortured, or killed, and this especially brings out her jumping-in-without-thinking nature.
